GST Michigan Works! plays a vital role in connecting job seekers and employers across the region—supporting workforce growth, economic development, and community resilience. To better communicate their impact, GST partnered with 3Sixty Agency to create Talent Talk, a quarterly publication designed to celebrate success stories, share data-driven insights, and highlight the organization’s ongoing role in shaping Michigan’s workforce.
The result is a print and digital report that not only informs but inspires—transforming program updates into compelling narratives of progress, opportunity, and collaboration.
Our Approach
Our goal was to elevate GST’s communications from traditional reporting to strategic storytelling. We developed Talent Talk as a hybrid between an annual report and a magazine—designed to be equally at home in a board meeting or a community event.
The design emphasized clarity, accessibility, and pride of place. Vibrant photography, clean data visualization, and modern typography came together to make workforce outcomes tangible and relatable. Content was structured around three core storytelling pillars:
- Impact Stories: Real-life examples of individuals and employers transformed through GST’s programs.
- Data Highlights: Clear metrics that demonstrate progress and accountability.
- Strategic Insights: Forward-looking commentary to position GST as a thought leader in workforce development.
